Majestic Tides

Inspired by the Nova Scotia coastline and ever-changing tides of Canada’s East Coast.

Mediums used in this collection include quality acrylic paints, pouring medium, gold leaf and epoxy resin. 

“In the early 2000’s, our parents rented an oceanfront cottage in Pugwash, Nova Scotia. My brother and I explored the ocean floor, walking for what seemed like hundreds of kilometers, following snails, collecting seashells and splashing in tide pools. 

During my post-secondary education, I was lucky to return to the East Coast in between my university and college years. It was during this time that I truly fell in love with the Maritimes; the sense of community, the slower paced lifestyle and the fresh ocean air. 

In 2019, I decided it was time to put my roots down in Nova Scotia, where I could be my best self and create with no limits.

The tides come and go multiple times a day, creating beautiful and unique impressions on the ocean floor. If you’re lucky enough to squish your toes in the sand formations before the waters return, you too will fall in love with Canada’s Ocean Playground.”
